The vitals on Nathan
On Saturday, June 6th we took Nathan in for another visit to the pediatrician. He needed to receive more immunizations and get a general looksee to find out how his general health is, and determine if he's growing at an accceptable pace.
He once again did very well handling the shots and his overall health is good. He is now 27 inches long and weighs 17 lbs 2.5 ounces. He falls into the 60th percentile for weight and is a bit taller than you average baby his age.
What we love is seeing Nathan develop into a wonderfully attentive and happy little guy. He is pretty much all smiles these days and has a wonderful little laugh that you can coax out of him. He is sleeping better these days as we are implementing the cry-it-out method. That is where Caralee and I cry and plead with him to please go to sleep.
We can't wait for our trip to Ohio and we are very excited to officially introduce him to so much of his family!!!
Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and well wishes.
We want to share our little guy with you all as much as possible and one fun way to stay in touch is via video chat. If you have a webcamera you should go to Google.com and install their "Google Talk" program so that we can do FREE video chats together.
Love you all and will talk to you soon.

Preparing Nathan's first solid food
Caralee is whipping up Nathan's first solid food, some delicious rice cereal.
Nathan really liked his rice cereal
So he didn't like it when the food stopped coming so we could get a bib on him.
Nathan's run for the roses!
Nathan rode his zebra "Stripey" to a first place finish at the Nursery Stakes!!!
